We teach Castilian — the model your students hear in every clip, and the one most UK classrooms use.

Accept Latin American pronunciation silently

Off: if a student says zona as “sona”, we mention that Spain says “thona”. On: nothing is said at all — useful for heritage speakers.

Your students are children, so the Children's Code applies to what you do here. What Chuleta keeps and how it is protected.

Either way, it never costs a mark. AQA and Edexcel accept both, so neither do we.
